- Shares of the Dutch investment group Prosus, owner of OLX and PayU among others, and ASML Holding, a leading supplier on the global semiconductor market. will be newly listed on GPW’s foreign stock market GlobalConnect on 5 October 2023

Another two companies will be newly listed on GlobalConnect at the request of the Introducing Market Maker, Santander Brokerage Office, on 5 October 2023. The companies listed on Euronext Amsterdam include the Dutch investment group Prosus, owner of brands well-known in Poland such as OLX, OtoDom, PayU, Otomoto, as well as the key global semiconductor manufacturer ASML Holding. The shares of these companies participate in the STOXX Europe 600 index. The Financial Instrument Sheets for the stock of the newly listed companies will be available on the GlobalConnect website: https://www.gpwglobalconnect.pl/Financial-Instrument-Card.
Shares of 13 companies are currently traded, including Adidas, Allianz, Bayer, BMW, Inditex (Zara, Pull&Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius, Oysho, Zara Home), Jeronimo Martins (owner of the Biedronka retail chain, among others), Mercedes Benz, Porsche, RWE, SAP, Siemens, Volkswagen, and Zalando. Further gradual expansion of the offer is planned.
GlobalConnect, GPW’s new market launched in November 2022, lists shares introduced to trading by an Introducing Market Maker without the issuer’s consent. Thanks to the new market, investors can buy and sell shares of the largest and best-known foreign companies on GPW. At the moment, Santander Biuro Maklerskie is the only Introducing Market Maker to introduce shares of foreign companies on GlobalConnect.
The new market operates within GPW’s Alternative Trading System (ATS). Trading takes place during the GPW trading hours, Monday to Friday from 09:05 and 17:05. Shares of foreign companies are quoted in Polish zloty. Companies to be listed on GlobalConnect are selected at the discretion of the Introducing Market Maker. The Introducing Market Maker is also responsible for ensuring liquidity of the introduced shares.
Investors can place orders through an existing or new account with a domestic brokerage firm connected to GlobalConnect. The fees charged to Exchange Members operating on this market are the same as those charged on the GPW Main Market. Holders of shares listed on GlobalConnect are entitled to benefits such as dividends.
