The User Committee was established in 2013. Mr Cuadra has served on the committee as vice-chairman since its inception.

“I will be pleased to serve as Chairman of the LME User Committee. The LME market is essential for the commercialisation of metal products. It is important that users of the LME, brokers, investors, traders and the metal industry, fully participate in and contribute to the development of its strategies, products and practices,” says Mr Cuadra.

The LME would like to thank previous chairman John Smillie for giving his time and expertise to the Committee. In recognition of his valuable contribution, the LME has granted him honorary membership of the Exchange.
