The Global Witness response to the Troika Laundromat stories just published, on the same day the government pulled the Financial Services bill:
"On the same day that the Government pulled a bill rather than extend critical transparency measures to the Crown Dependencies, today’s stories of a new Russian laundromat reveals that companies serviced by UK tax havens are integral to the circulation of billions of dollars of apparently fraudulent funds.
How many more scandals and leaks are needed before Theresa May stops the UK territories from servicing the criminal and corrupt? We cannot, and should not, wait for the rest of the world to come on board before we open up our tax havens.
