Apex Group, the leading global financial services provider, has appointed a new Managing Director of ApexInvest. Based in Abu Dhabi, John Papesh is the global head of Apex Invest, focusing on advisory, capital raising and distribution solutions.
This announcement follows the launch of Apex Invest in June 2023 after the re-brand of Context365’s technology platform, associated conferences, and events series. ApexInvest designed to connect fund managers, allocators and service providers, allowing them to build their networks and efficiently identify and evaluate investment opportunities.

John Papesh’s appointment marks another milestone reached as the brand expands out of the US and across the Middle East, Asia and Europe.

John is an executive level professional with 30 years of capital markets and investment management experience specialising in business development, distribution and global fundraising. Before joining Apex, he was founder and CEO of his own capital raising and advisory group, served as Managing Director and Head of International Distribution for a leading emerging market focused investment bank’s investment management division. John is an expert strategic business developer and passionate relationship builder with a large global network of institutional and private clients. Over his career, he has participated in more than US $125bn of investments.
