A large pension fund from the GCC visited QSE last week to discuss investment potential in Qatar’s financial market. The CEO of QSE presented the key strengths of the Qatari market and future plans to improve liquidity in the market.
The portfolio managers from the pension fund were pleased with the plan and welcomed QSE’s initiatives to improve the quality of market and investment tools and products like margin trading and ETFs.
In the past quarter QSE has actively reached out to buy-side and sell-side investment community locally, regionally and internationally to gather feedback and requirements for further development initiatives. QSE aims to continue its efforts to develop the financial market in Qatar that started with achieving the status of emerging markets.
