The company placed 149.44 million shares to raise a total of EUR 3.48 billion. The underwritten tranche reserved to institutional investors was oversubscribed some 27 times, while retail investors placed 3.15 million orders.
The share opened at 12.15 pm at EUR 27.8. Based on its opening price, capitalisation totalled EUR 27.1 billion.
Gaz de France is Euronext’s 30th listing since January 2005. Altogether new listings have raised EUR 6.6 billion on Euronext markets since the beginning of the year and increased total market capitalisation by EUR 33.9 billion.
