Future Dynamics First To Conform To IPE API 10.300

Date 22/05/2003

Future Dynamics has today announced the conformance of "CROSSFIRE", front-end trading application, to the IPE API 10.300, provided by the IPE's parent IntercontinentalExchange. Following the successful completion of conformance testing, CROSSFIRE is now accepted as an IPE certified ISV solution, enabling traders to access and trade IPE products on the electronic platform.

Charles Robson, Head of European Sales at Future Dynamics, commented, "We have always viewed the Energy markets as a very important part of the derivatives sector. When the International Petroleum Exchange announced that they would be migrating the execution of their Futures and Options business away from open outcry to an electronic platform, we saw this as a great opportunity to be first in this ever more influential sector."

Richard Ward, CEO at IPE, stated "We are extremely pleased that Future Dynamics are the first to conform to the API. ISVs are critical to our plans to take the Exchange fully electronic".

Crossfire provides order routing and execution across multiple exchanges, and can be deployed as desktop, web and wireless PDA. IPE connectivity extends the exchange coverage, which already includes LIFFE, Eurex, CBOT, CME, Euronext, SFE, NQLX, CBOE, One Chicago, SGX-DT.

Clients also have ability to integrate their own in-house trading systems with either the Crossfire COM API or FIX order routing engine. Both will allow orders to be routed and executed from third party front ends to the desired markets.
