FTSE Indices - Three Minutes Silence

Employees of FTSE Group in London will observe a three minute silence at 12 noon GMT on Wednesday 5 January 2005 as a mark of respect for the victims of the tsunami disaster.

As global markets will remain open during the period, FTSE real-time indices will be disseminated as normal and will continue to reflect any market movements during the period.
