FTSE Group Exhibiting At Green Canary Day

Date 23/09/2005

FTSE Group (FTSE), the global index provider and a new tenant of Canary Wharf, will be exhibiting at the 4th Green Canary Day on Tuesday 27th September. Green Canary day is an event for Canary Wharf Group and its tenants to demonstrate their environmental credentials, and will allow FTSE to showcase its own CSR business practices and highlight the FTSE4Good index series, its equity index of companies that meet globally recognised corporate responsibility standards.

FTSE is proud to support Green Canary Day and takes corporate responsibility very seriously. FTSE has been assessed and accredited as a GoodCorporation company for the last three years, and takes steps to manage its impact on the environment and the community in a responsible way.

Launched in 2001, the FTSE4Good index series currently contains 292 UK companies. It is designed to act as a tool for socially responsible investors to identify which companies carry out good CSR practices and is also a standard for listed companies to use to benchmark themselves against current best practice standards. To become a member of the FTSE4Good index, companies must meet challenging criteria in the areas of stakeholder relationships, human rights and environmental issues. The index is reviewed every six months, and more information on constituents, the index and inclusion criteria can be found at www.ftse.com/ftse4good
