FTSE Data Will Continue To Be Available On Barra

Barra Inc. and FTSE Group wish to announce to our mutual clients, that we have reached a preliminary understanding that will grant Barra the continued rights to use and redistribute FTSE data through Barra products. Therefore, FTSE data will be available as normal through Barra products. In addition, Barra will continue to utilise FTSE data in the construction of its risk models.

This preliminary understanding is subject to reaching a full contractual agreement. Certain aspects of the current contractual arrangements between Barra, FTSE and their clients will change under the new agreement. These details will be communicated shortly to clients.
