Selected by an international panel of asset owners and consultants, FTSE was presented with the award for the fourth time, once again beating rival firms such as MSCI Barra and Standard & Poor’s.
FTSE’s goal to deliver the best indexing services globally is driving an ongoing development and expansion of its indexing services internationally. Its work in the Asia Pacific region has also been recognised with a set of awards from both buy and sell side investors in the region, where it has recently won “Index Provider of the Year 2008” in the Asia Asset Management ‘s Best of the Best Awards, “Best Provider of Tradable Indexes 2008” in the Asian Investor Services Provider Awards 2008 and “Index Provider of the Year” in the Structured Products Awards Asia 2008.
