FORTS Transaction Charge For Options On Gazprom Futures To Drop

At the meeting held by correspondence on August 2, 2002, the RTS Board of Directors has made a decision to lower the transaction charge for options on Gazprom stock futures by 70%, from 1.3 to 0.3 rubles per contract side.

The change is effective as of August 12th, 2002.
