On February 12, 2009 the trading volume in the newly launched EUR/USD futures contract totalled 81,273 contracts or 107.5 million US dollars in money terms hitting a record high.
The previous record was set on February 11, 2009, when the trading volume reached 56,606 contracts or 73.4 million US dollars.
