Former SEC Chairman Donaldson To Be Recognized At Foundation For Investor Education Dinner

The Foundation for Investor Education (FIE) today announced it would recognize William H. Donaldson at its annual tribute dinner for his long career in both the private and public sectors. The proceeds from the dinner will benefit The Stock Market Game, a non-profit, investor education program for students sponsored by FIE.

“We are honored to have former Chairman Donaldson as our guest; his long and storied career in the private sector is one of dynamic leadership and immense success at the highest levels,” said Securities Industry Association Chairman Danny Ludeman.

In addition to his tenure at the Securities and Exchange Commission, Mr. Donaldson has held leadership positions across business, government and academia. He served as Chairman and CEO of the investment banking firm Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, which he co-founded; Chairman and CEO of the New York Stock Exchange; Chairman, President and CEO of Aetna; and Chairman and CEO of Donaldson Enterprises, Inc.
