Formal Investigation Initiated Against Think Tools Ltd

In connection with the communication politics of Think Tools Ltd on the occasion of the presentation of the new company strategy on 21 August 2001 that may have resulted in a potential violation of Art. 72 of the Listing Rules, SWX Swiss Exchange has initiated on 19 October 2001 a formal investigation.

The duration of such investigative proceedings has not been determined. SWX shall provide information on the outcome of its investigation, however no information will be issued with regard to the ongoing investigative proceedings.
