In order to implement the arrangement of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) for the special investor education program of "Rational Investment Starts with Me", and improve the comprehensive capacity of the frontline personnel in investor education and protection at the securities companies for serving the investors, the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) launched the "Investor Education Vanguard" promotion program for the first time in the securities industry. The event has seen more than 80 securities companies participate vigorously, and a number of advanced models with ideals, strengths and achievements in investor education and protection emerge. The special columns of "Investor Education Vanguard" promotion program on people.com.cn and sina.com recorded a total of 2.9 million views. Recently, based on the opinions of external expert judges and the views of the videos, the SSE selected the "2018 Top 100 Participants in Investor Education Vanguard Program".
"New" Services, "Vanguard" Skills
The "Top 100 Participants in Investor Education Vanguard Program" are a group full of talents, who have shown their "innovative" and "sharp" characteristics of the "vanguard" in their efforts in investor education and protection.
It was a widespread opinion of the expert judges serving in the program that they were deeply impressed by the frontline stories of the investor education vanguard. Among them there were "creative experts" who hand-painted works on investor education to integrate the warm feelings in the boring knowledge explanation; there were "soul mentors" with psychological counseling skills, who inspired investors to participate in securities investment with a peaceful mind and rational thinking; there were "writing talents" compiling books on investor education to guide investors in understanding the market and humanity as well as increasing experience and wisdom; there were "intimate companions" to the blind investors who made special audio materials on investor education to reveal the trap of illegal securities activities. This activity also directed the personnel in investor education and protection to learn from and catch up with the advanced models while promoting the stories about investor education to numerous common people."
The "Top 100 Participants in Investor Education Vanguard Program" include not only the personnel in investor education management at the headquarters of securities companies, the general managers of the branch offices and the sales departments and the "investment consultants", "customer service managers" and sales department tellers who directly provided services to investors at the grassroots level, but also the teams and groups such as customer service centers and investor education working groups. With different positions and different experiences, all the participants in the program shouldered the common mission of guiding investors in establishing a rational investment concept, enhancing self-protection awareness and protecting the investors.

The "Top 100 Participants in Investor Education Vanguard Program" are from 25 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities. The "Top 100 Participants in Investor Education Vanguard Program" are just the representatives of the frontline personnel in investor education and protection, who have tackled the problems one by one, taken the simple work seriously and persisted in their efforts, providing the investors with professional and sincere services.
