FIS has made a strategic move by acquiring Torstone Technology, a specialized SaaS post-trade platform, solidifying its position as a leading fintech player.
This acquisition marks a significant expansion in FIS' capital markets technology suite, building on its prior purchase of SunGard in 2015 and its consistent growth through key acquisitions and contracts. Torstone Technology, founded in 2011 by CEO Brian Collings, will enhance FIS' offerings with advanced post-trade securities and derivatives processing capabilities.
