First North has approved Horwath Revisorerne, PWC Corporate Finance and RevisionsGruppen as Approved Advisers, and thus the number of Approved Advisers is now 19. The alternative marketplace First North opened on 12 December 2005 and is operated under the auspices of the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
Deputy President Jan Ovesen, Copenhagen Stock Exchange, says, ”It is very positive that First North can welcome yet another three new Approved Advisers so soon after the establishment. The number of Approved Advisers is now 19.”
Carsten Borring, Head of First North adds, ”The interest in becoming an Approved Adviser reflects the fact that there are quite a few small and medium-sized companies which in the coming years are likely to take advantage of the significant growth possibilities offered by the alternative marketplace First North.”
Thomas Krantz, partner in PricewaterhouseCoopers, says, ”We see a listing on First North as an attractive alternative, when we advise our medium-sized clients on sales opportunities. A large number of companies will find that a listing on First North is an obvious sales channel, e.g. in situations where a traditional succession process is not an option.”
