On 19 February 2008, the WSE Management Board admitted the company FIO o.c.p., a.s. with its seat in Bratislava to operation on the WSE as a Remote Exchange Member. It is the first Exchange Member from Slovakia.
FIO o.c.p., a.s. is a member of the FIO Capital Group. The core business of FIO is to trade in foreign equities and derivatives markets.
The broker provides an intermediary’s service of trading in financial instruments to small and mid-sized institutional investors as well as retail investors.
FIO o.c.p., a.s. said its operation on the WSE will include trading in all financial instruments on its own account and on clients’ account.
