Currenxie, the global financial platform for borderless businesses, today announced the appointment of Eoin Weigel as Head of Compliance and Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) for Europe. My mandate is to maintain and enhance compliance and financial crime frameworks, and control environments as the business continues to grow its presence in Europe. Sam Coyne, CEO - Europe at Currenxie, added: “Eoin’s addition to our leadership team is vital as we scale our presence across the UK and Europe. His extensive background in financial regulation and AML ensures our rapid regional growth meets the highest standards of regulatory compliance.”

Currenxie’s payment solutions include its Global Account which offers seamless bank and wallet payments, foreign exchange, and Visa Business cards for businesses to manage expenses, transact in different currencies and manage cross-border payments through a single, multi-currency platform.
