Finansinspektionen (FI) Swedish Financial Supervisory - ICA Banken AB Receives A Remark

ICA Banken AB did not report to Finansinspektionen (FI) that the Bank had a new owner, which it is obligated to do. As a result of this breach, the Bank is receiving a remark.

The ownership of ICA Banken has undergone several changes in recent years. One of these changes was the acquisition by three companies of qualifying holding of shares in ICA Banken without first applying for authorisation from FI. ICA Banken also did not report the acquisition, which it is obligated to do. These rules are put in place in order for FI to assess the suitability of new owners.

The ownership structure is different today and the three companies have since sold their shares.
