FIF Capacity Statistics For May 2011 - Thirteen New Record Peaks: NASDAQ ITTO, BONO, DAP and PSX TotalView ITCH, NYSE ArcaBook Options And Amex Options, SIAC CTS, OPRA And CQS, Deutsche Börse CEF Ultra + Eurex, CEF Core Scoach And CEF Core Total And BATS BYX PITCH

This month’s bulletin from the Financial Information Forum (FIF) finds that NASDAQ ITTO was up, for the second consecutive month, a record 44% to 394,232 mps over the 1 second interval.

NYSE ARCABOOK OPTIONS was up a record 34%, for the third straight month, to 1,414,432 mps over the 1 second core interval

For the third straight month, NASDAQ BONO was up a record 27% to 305,896 mps over the 1 second interval

SIAC CTS shot up 21% to 60,180 mps over the 1 second interval

SIAC OPRA jumped a record 14% to 2,843,147 mps over the 1 second interval

DEUTSCHE BOERSE CEF ULTRA+EUREX was up by 11% to 32,650 mps over the 1 second interval

NYSE AMEX Options was up by 10% to 1,514,621 mps over the 1 second core interval

NASDAQ DAP was up by 9% to 221,457 mps over the 1 second interval

SIAC CQS was up for the third consecutive month by a record 6% to 414,746 mps over the 1 second interval  

DEUTSCHE BOERSE CEF CORE SCOACH and DEUTSCHE BOERSE CEF CORE TOTAL were both up a record 2%  which corresponds to 98,088 mps and 148,975 mps  over the 1 second interval

For the third consecutive month, NASDAQ PSX TOTALVIEW - ITCH was up by 1.7% to 27,461 mps over the 1 second interval

BATS BYX PITCH was up by 1.3% to 86,709 mps over the 1 second interval

The next meeting of the FIF MD Capacity WG is scheduled for June 23rd @    10:00 AM ET.
