KBC Clearing has contracted with FFastFill for the delivery of its middle office clearing application “Viewpoint”. This application, which was acquired by FFastFill as part of its acquisition of Future Dynamics in 2004, is a key part of FFastFill’s application portfolio covering front and middle office, and is a core element in the integrated service roadmap which FFastFill published last year.
KBC Clearing, having its office in Amsterdam will initially use Viewpoint for the post trade processing of Liffe and Euronext Amsterdam, Brussels and Paris trades.
Keith Todd, Executive Chairman and CEO of FFastFill, said, “I am delighted that KBC Clearing have joined the growing list of FFastFill customers. This contract demonstrates the strength of FFastFill’s commitment to the range of middle office products which we acquired last year and which we will be offering as an application service later this year. We continue to believe that our strategy which comprises delivering applications as a service, providing a complete front through back office functionality and supporting our customers through a focus on operational excellence, is one that will continue to find favour with both existing and new customers.”
