Extraordinary Meeting Of Tallinn Stock Exchange Shareholders And Tallinn Stock Exchange Supervisory Board Meeting

The extraordinary meeting of Tallinn Stock Exchange (TSE) shareholders and meeting of new Supervisory Board took place on May 3, 2001.

The shareholders elected and appointed a new Supervisory Board consisting of:

  • Sven Kunsing - Director of Research Division of Investment Banking of Eesti Ühispank
  • Rain Lõhmus - Head of Supervisory Board of Lõhmus Haavel & Viisemann
  • Allan Martinson - CEO of Microlink
  • Sven Meimer - Head of Department for Payment and Settlement Systems of the Central Bank of Estonia
  • Priit Põldoja - Director of Investment Management Division of Hansabank Markets
  • Jukka Ruuska - President and CEO of HEX Group
  • Heikki Sirve - Executive Vice President, Head of Settlement and Depository Business Unit of HEX Group
  • Jouni Torasvirta - Executive Vice President, Head of Trading Business Unit of HEX Group
The shareholders approved the new Articles of Association, which turn the TSE into a for-profit company and adapt the corporate governance rules reflecting TSE having a strategic owner. The new Articles of Association are available on the TSE homepage under Rules and Regulations/Additional documents (http://www.tse.ee/english/rules/rules.php).

The TSE Supervisory Board elected Jukka Ruuska as its new chairman.
