ExeQution Analytics, the specialist trading analytics company, has opened offices in London and Belfast to service its growing client base in EMEA and the US. The new offices join existing operations in Sydney.
Launched in 2021, ExeQution Analytics services clients including hedge funds, sovereign wealth funds, propriety trading firms, asset managers and brokers, across all exchange-traded asset classes, with FX being added this year. Founder and CEO Cat Turley said the expansion to the northern hemisphere marked an exciting milestone for the firm.
“When I launched this company, I knew there was a market for bespoke analytics, but the response has surpassed my expectations,” she said. “We have grown our client base very quickly and have a strong inflow of interest globally, so establishing ourselves in the UK timezone made a lot of sense both for our team and our clients.”
Denny Chau, Chief Operating Officer of Polymer Capital said ExeQution Analytics had a valuable offering in today’s complex, interconnected capital markets. “Using ExeQution Analytics’ proprietary analytics framework, Polymer has significantly enhanced research and trading analysis capabilities across the full investment lifecycle,” he highlighted. “We have been very impressed with the team at ExeQution Analytics, and the speed with which they have delivered value to us.”
The new UK offices are headed by Europe Director Neil Rajgor, a veteran data analytics and kdb+ expert with experience at firms including BlackRock, JP Morgan, RBS, CIMB, NatWest Group and most recently TD Bank Group. Neil said the opportunity to join a fast-growing firm at the cutting edge of analytics was the reason he made the leap to a start-up for the first time.
“I worked with Cat at JP Morgan and RBS and I believe she is one of the world’s leading minds when it comes to trading analytics,” he said. “I have been watching the growth of ExeQution Analytics closely and when the opportunity to join arose, I jumped at the chance.”
Rajgor leads a team of six kdb+ trading analytic experts with varied experience across large global banks including Standard Chartered, Citi, HSBC and Macquarie Group.
The new operations bring the global ExeQution Analytics team to 20.
The ExeQution Analytics framework is developed in q and deployed as a bespoke solution for each client. It allows traders, engineers and data scientists to unlock the full potential of their firm’s market data investments. The system can be used through a variety of interfaces including graphical and natural language interfaces, so non-technical users can integrate its powerful insights and improve trading performance without the need for specialist skills. The framework integrates seamlessly with existing execution systems and market data feeds.
