Exchange Data International (EDI), a leading provider of global security corporate actions, pricing, and reference data services, today introduced the UK FundsCAB Service to further enhance their Investment Funds coverage.
The UK FundsCAB Service covers over 13,700 share class funds from 200 fund management companies providing comprehensive corporate actions data. Users can access corporate actions as soon as they enter the EDI’s Corporate actions web-based system. EDI also publish daily fund distributions on the UK FundsCAB service.
EDI’s data team collects, analyses, and publishes the data from unit trusts and open-ended investment companies (OEIC) or their representatives. EDI also mines various websites to ensure we capture corporate actions for the UK funds market.
Tony McCormack, Head of Global Investment Funds, comments:“EDI has built relationships with the fund management companies and their administrators, in the UK, over many years. To provide greater coverage of corporate actions, we have also partnered with an AI/ML company to mine Press Release newswires, third-party sites, the trade press and other fund websites.”
Tony adds: “If timeliness of corporate actions and distributions is a key concern for your firm, then we have the solution for you. We enter the data as soon as we receive it. When we release a corporate action, you will be alerted that a change has taken place for that fund in your portfolio. We actively monitor corporate actions as they happen, so you get the data you need faster.”
