At the FOW Asia Pacific Awards in Hong Kong last night, Eventus, a leading provider of comprehensive, at-scale trade surveillance and financial risk solutions, won the award for Market Surveillance Solution of the Year for its Validus platform. Earlier this year, Eventus won the same category for the fourth time in the FOW International Awards.
The win follows the firm's recognitions in July as Best Trade Surveillance Solution in the Capital Markets Technology Awards APAC and Trade Surveillance Product of the Year in the global Risk Technology Awards.
The FOW Asia Pacific Awards, hosted by Futures & Options World (FOW), recognize outstanding performance and innovation for firms and individuals in the Asian derivatives industry. A specialist panel of independent industry experts with relevant subject matter expertise from across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region select the winners in each category.
Eventus CEO Cameron Routh said: "APAC continues to be a cornerstone of our strategy and strong growth driver, and clients appreciate our collaborative approach, ensuring that Validus reflects the changing rules in the various jurisdictions in which they operate. It's always a great honor to earn an award from FOW and the independent judges who understand what we do."
More than 50% of new global Eventus clients have a presence in APAC, and the firm has 30 active clients in the region, ranging from brokerage firms, to proprietary trading firms and digital asset marketplaces.
Eventus, which has now won more than 50 awards and honors since 2018, has earned 17 honors for the APAC region alone.
