On April 16, 2010 a new trading record was set on FORTS, derivatives market of RTS, during the evening trading session – RUB27 million or USD938 million in value.
The previous record was seen on February 10, 2010, when the evening trading on FORTS exceeded RUB24.9 million or USD822 million.
The evening trading hours are from 7:00 pm to 11:50 pm MSK. This enables all categories of investors to realize various strategies and hedge their investments in Russian assets against sharp price movements in the global markets.
