European Stability Mechanism (ESM) Appoints Maurice Hickey As Head Of Middle And Back Office

The European Stability Mechanism (ESM) has appointed Maurice Hickey to the position of Head of Middle and Back Office & Portfolio Performance. He replaces Françoise Blondeel, who is now a member of the ESM Management Board.  

Mr Hickey previously held senior positions at the European Investment Fund, including Head of Corporate Risk Management and Head of Mandate Servicing and Administration.  Mr Hickey has over twenty years of experience in back and middle office roles in the investment funds industry, including roles at HSBC, Merrill Lynch, and Brown Brothers Harriman.  He is a Business Studies graduate of the University of Limerick.
