European Parliament - Bankers' Bonuses: Chat With Vice-President Karas On Facebook

Banks are accused of causing the crisis, but this hasn't prevented some bankers from taking home ten times their base salary in bonuses. Parliament now wants to put a limit on these bonuses and in the coming months will be voting on a proposal on this. Ahead of this important vote vice-president Othmar Karas, an Austrian Christian-Democrat who is guiding the proposal through Parliament, agreed to discuss the plans with our fans on Facebook.

Starting at 1600 CET, the chat on Tuesday 26 June will be an opportunity to discuss bankers' bonuses and other economic issues. Facebook fans will have 45 minutes to ask the vicce-president questions.
