Euronext.liffe Opens Singapore Office

Euronext.liffe, the derivatives business of Euronext, will open a new office in Singapore from 1 June 2006. The new office will help service the large number of customers accessing the Euronext.liffe markets from Singapore, Japan, Australia, Hong Kong and India, and win new business for the Exchange.

Hugh Freedberg, Chief Executive of Euronext.liffe, said: “This new office in Singapore reinforces our commitment to our Asian customers and is another important building block in providing quality service to our rapidly growing Asian/Pacific customer base. The launching of the Singapore Hub in October 2005 has given our customers from across Asia a greater opportunity to access a highly liquid market through LIFFE CONNECT®. Our sales service will be based in the local time zone and experienced, locally-based staff of Euronext.liffe will ensure we are closer to our customers in delivering timely assistance.”

Euronext.liffe currently has offices in London, Paris, New York, Chicago, Amsterdam, Brussels and Lisbon.
