Volta Finance Limited, a structured finance company investing a multi-asset class structured finance portfolio, was listed today on Euronext Amsterdam, raising €300 mln. Trading opened today at noon CET on Euronext Amsterdam at a price of €10.
Volta is the 15th company to be listed on Euronext Amsterdam this year. Its listing brings the amount of fresh capital raised capital on Euronext Amsterdam during the year above the €10 billion level for the first time in history. So far this year, Euronext’s markets have together attracted 137 new listings raising a total of €21 billion, resulting in an additional market capitalisation of €95 billion.
Volta Finance Limited intends to use the net proceeds of the offer to invest in a selection of asset-backed securities and residual CO interests, and to acquire additional primary target investments and other investments in accordance with the investment guidelines and plans for a fully invested portfolio as described in the prospectus.
