Euronext Response To UK Competition Commission Report

Euronext N.V. ("Euronext") notes the Competition Commission's report outlining the undertakings which would be required of Euronext should it decide to proceed with a combination with London Stock Exchange plc.

The Euronext Board will review the contents of the Competition Commission's report and analyse the potential economic impact of those undertakings, particularly the divestment requirement relating to Euronext's shareholding in LCH.Clearnet. Euronext will, in close consultation with its shareholders, assess all available strategic options to maximise shareholder value.
