Euronext: BEL20® Index: Belgacom Extraordinary Dividend

Following the announcement, made public on the 25th February 2005, by Belgacom of the proposed 0.55€ extraordinary dividend payment, Euronext Indices informs that it will adjust the BEL 20® index divisors. This adjustment will only take place, if the Annual General Meeting of Belgacom shareholders, due on 13th April 2005 approves the extraordinary dividend payment.

The BEL 20 divisors will be adjusted on the grounds of article 5.4.5 of the BEL 20 Index Rules. This adjustment will be made based on the gross amount of extraordinary dividends (0.55 €). On the evening of the “cum date”, Euronext Indices will announce the new divisor for the BEL20® indices.
