Euronext Athens: Commencement Of Trading Of ElvalHalcor’s New Shares

Date 22/07/2026

Euronext Athens today welcomed the management, executives and partners of ElvalHalcor to mark the commencement of trading for the company’s new shares, following its recent share capital increase. The Chairman of ElvalHalcor’s Board of Directors, Konstantinos Katsaros, formally opened today’s session.

Addressing the company’s representatives, the CEO of Euronext Athens, Yianos Kontopoulos, remarked: “The oversubscription of ElvalHalcor’s public offering and private placement demonstrates the strong response from both institutional and private investors and confirms the market’s confidence in the group’s growth strategy. This is particularly significant, as it forms a key pillar for the implementation of the group’s ambitious investment programme, valued at approximately €855 million for the period 2026–2030. It is one of the largest investment plans announced by the company in recent years, aimed at enhancing its production capacity, upgrading its facilities technologically and further consolidating its international competitiveness. Euronext Athens wishes ElvalHalcor every success in delivering its investment programme and in its future growth initiatives, further contributing to the strengthening of the Greek economy and capital market.”

The Chairman of ElvalHalcor’s Board of Directors, Konstantinos Katsaros, after expressing his gratitude to all those who contributed to the successful completion of the share capital increase, stated: “We will undertake a comprehensive range of investments in accordance with our five-year strategic plan. These new investments in machinery and infrastructure will enable us, thanks to the high level of expertise and technological experience of our employees, to become in the coming years the second largest aluminium rolling plant in Europe and among the largest in the western world. On behalf of the management and all employees, I assure you that these investments will be executed flawlessly, within the set timeframe and budget. Furthermore, following a series of investment programmes, the continuous adoption and application of new technologies, as well as the successful resolution of technical challenges by our teams in previous programmes, make us confident that not only will these investments be implemented correctly, but their maturation and contribution to increased profitability will be realised in a shorter period than comparable international benchmarks.”

The Vice Chairman of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission, Michalis Fekkas, added: “The successful capital raising by ElvalHalcor and the strong response from investors confirm that Greek companies can attract significant capital when they combine outward-looking strategies, investment vision and credibility. The year 2026 is a milestone for the Greek capital market, as public offerings and transactions have already mobilised approximately €7.2 billion, an amount comparable to the largest development programmes in the country. This development marks the transition of the Greek capital market into a new era of maturity, confidence and substantial contribution to economic growth.”
