Appointment and re-appointments to the Supervisory Board of Euronext N.V.
The Supervisory Board of Euronext N.V. intends to appoint Mr Rijnhard van Tets as a member of the Supervisory Board. This proposal will form part of the agenda of Euronext N.V.'s annual meeting of shareholders, to be held on 22 May 2003. Mr Van Tets retired as a member of the Managing Board of ABN AMRO Bank N.V. in 2002 and would replace Mr Jacobs, who will retire after the annual meeting of shareholders, as a member of the Supervisory Board.
The Supervisory Board of Euronext N.V. also intends to re-appoint Mr Blondeau and Mr Dirckx as members of the Supervisory Board. These re-appointments will also form part of the agenda of the Euronext N.V.'s annual meeting of shareholders. Mr Blondeau and Mr Dirckx have been members of the Supervisory Board since 2000.
Appointment to the Managing Board of Euronext N.V.
The Supervisory Board of Euronext N.V. intends to appoint Mr João Freixa as a member of the Managing Board of Euronext N.V. and will give notice of this intention to the annual meeting of shareholders. Mr Freixa will replace Mr Manuel Monteiro who decided to leave Euronext with effect from 8 March 2003.
