Euronext Amsterdam To Sell Off 25% Stake In Tijd Beursmedia B.V.

Euronext Amsterdam N.V., created by the merger between the exchanges of Amsterdam, Brussels and Paris disposes its 25% interest in Tijd Beursmedia B.V. The stake was originally acquired by Amsterdam Exchanges, the former exchange organisation in Amsterdam, in connection with its publishing activities.

Euronext no longer sees its stake in Tijd Beursmedia B.V. as part of its core business. Moreover, in the light of future developments at Tijd Beursmedia B.V., Uitgeverij Tijd N.V. considers it necessary to be the sole shareholder of the company. Euronext Amsterdam N.V. supports this view and has therefore decided to sell off its 25% interest.
