Euro Futures to Be Traded On The Warsaw Stock Exchange

New futures contracts based on EURO exchange rate will start trading on the Warsaw Stock Exchange on May 31, 1999. Five contract series will be concurrently available for trading, with expiry dates in the nearest three calendar months and two subsequent months from the March quarterly cycle. The contract size is EURO 10,000. The Warsaw Stock Exchange already trades futures on the WIG20 index (representing 20 most liquid stocks of the WSE main market) and USD futures. Futures contracts are traded in the screen-based continuous system, Monday to Friday, 11:45 -15:00.
