E*Trade New Member On Oslo Børs

The American investment firm E*Trade will start direct trading in shares on Oslo Børs Tuesday 5. July 2005. After this, 20 out of at total of 43 members now have remote membership at Oslo Børs.

We welcome E*Trade to Oslo Børs, as the fifth international company in short time. This is yet another comfirmation of the attractiveness of the Norwegian market, says Sven Arild Andersen, President & CEO on Oslo Børs.

So far this year, Cube Financial Ltd, Instinet Europe Ltd, Islandsbanki and JP Morgan have started direct trading on Oslo Børs.
