ETFGI, a leading independent research and consultancy firm renowned for its expertise in subscription research, consulting services, events, and ETF TV on global ETF industry trends, reports Korean retail investors were active purchasers of overseas listed ETFs in December. Twenty-six of the top 50 overseas securities purchased by Korean retail investors were ETFs listed in the United States. The number of ETFs on the top 50 list was up by 1 from the 25 in November, the same number as October 2024, and is down by 3 from the 29 in September 2024.
