Today ESMA, the EU’s securities markets regulator, has published an update to its March 2019 statement on the endorsement of credit ratings from the United Kingdom.
The previous statement has been updated in order to provide clarity on whether endorsement can proceed following the end of the transition period on 31 December 2020 in the context of the UK's Withdrawal Agreement from the EU.
