The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has published an updated questions and answers document on the application of the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD).
The Q&A includes one new question and answer on the commencement of periodical reporting pursuant to Article 13 of the Securities Financing Transactions Regulation for Alternative Investment Fund managers.
The purpose of the Q&A document is to promote common supervisory approaches and practices in the application of the AIFMD and its implementing measures.
