Convergex, an agency-focused global brokerage and trading related services provider, is pleased to announce that Institutional Investor magazine has once again selected Eric W. Noll, Convergex President and CEO, as a member of its 2017 "Trading Tech 40" list, an annual ranking of the industry's top innovators and visionaries. Members of the top 40 list are selected based on their professional accomplishments and contributions to the industry.

The Trading Tech 40 ranking is determined by a group of Institutional Investor editors, with input from industry experts. The leadership criteria includes: "career accomplishments and notable contributions to the industry at large; scope and complexity of executive responsibilities; and pure technological innovation."

Mr. Noll is a financial industry veteran and is responsible for developing Convergex's strategic initiatives as well as overseeing the implementation of all aspects of the firm's business plan and goals. Previously, Mr. Noll was Executive Vice President at NASDAQ OMX. In 2015, Mr. Noll was selected by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to be a member of its Equity Market Structure Advisory Committee and was also selected to Chair the SEC Market Quality Subcommittee.
