Bloomberg has made available its final Q2 2019 league table reports. The tables represent market leaders across a broad range of deal types, including M&A, Equities, loans and bonds transactions over the last quarter.
- H1 2019 credited Global Equity, Equity Linked & Rights volume decreased 23.26% to USD 315.3 Bln while deal count decreased 23.41% to 2,009 offerings year-on-year.
- Global Equity IPO volume decreased 25.00% year-on-year to USD 81.0 Bln while the deal count decreased 28.03% to 547.
- H1 2019 credited EMEA Equity, Equity Linked & Rights - Risk volume decreased 37.17% to USD 61.4 Bln while deal count decreased 37.39% to 298 offerings year-on-year.
- EMEA Equity IPO volume decreased 42.25% year-on-year to USD 14.5 Bln while the deal count decreased 51.92% to 50.
- Morgan Stanley ranked as the top Global Equity, Equity Linked & Rights underwriter for H1 2019 with 9.44% market share. The bank underwrote 200 deals over the period. Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan ranked second and third with 8.92% and 7.21% market share, respectively.
- Morgan Stanley ranked as the top EMEA Equity, Equity Linked & Rights - Risk underwriter for H1 2019 with 11.51% market share. The bank underwrote 33 deals over the period. JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs ranked second and third with 10.85% and 8.06% market share, respectively.
