As per EGX’s commitment to enhance financial literacy and promote investment awareness among youth, EGX Vice Chairman, Mohamed Sabri visited Millennium International schools, with the attendance of Hesham Labib, Head of private educational sector at Ministry of Education, along with leaders from The Egyptian Exchange (EGX).
EGX’s initiative for school students featured a valuable lecture on investment and financial literacy titled “Empowering the Next Generation”. The session opened new horizons for students and supported them in developing informed decision-making skills, reflecting a shared commitment to equipping future generations with solid financial knowledge and foundational investment capabilities.
The program includes a series of interactive sessions and practical workshops designed to enhance students’ understanding of capital markets and provide hands-on exposure that simulates real labor-market dynamics.
During his speech, EGX Vice Chairman expressed his happiness with the school’s reception of The Egyptian Exchange, saying that investment represents one of the fundamental pillars for building a stable economic future and promising generation.
He pointed out that EGX is an effective platform, that enables individuals to share in the growth of companies achieving returns on the long term. He highlighted the importance of understanding risks, as well as making decisions based on knowledge and analysis.
Sabri praised the Financial Regulatory Authority’s (FRA) decision to allow account opening and trading starting at the age of 15. He emphasized that this step reflects strong confidence in the capabilities of youth and marks an important milestone in empowering them to acquire essential financial skills and engage in investment activities within a disciplined and well-regulated framework.
EGX Vice Chairman concluded his speech reaffirming full commitment of EGX to support educational initiatives that aim to build financially aware generation. He thanked the school administration for their role in enhancing students’ awareness of this pivotal field.
