The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) represented by Dr. Mohammed Farid Saleh, Executive Chairman, signed a memorandum of Understanding with Luxor University represented by Dr. Mohammed Mahjoub, on the sidelines of the 3rd edition of “EGX for Development” Conference held in Qena and Luxor with the aim of raising awareness of youth on the basics of investment and saving through capital.
Dr. Mohamed Farid, expressed his enthusiasm as the number of universities and educational institutions with which EGX signed cooperation agreements for awareness reached 14 universities and educational institutions. He added that cooperation with different educational entities enables EGX to better provide financial awareness to youth and general public. He continued, that EGX’s management developed a section specialized in financial literacy for the implementation of EGX’s plan and target by providing trainings theoretical and practical allowing students to better understand capital markets.
Dr. Mohammed Mahjoub, Luxor University President, said that signing this MoU is a strategic step that enhances the capabilities of students and contributes to diversifying their knowledge, especially in the capital markets field, making them a better qualified caliber for the labor market.
