EGX Conducts Lectures To Ain Shams University Students In Financial Literacy As Part Of Signed MoU

Mr. Ahmed Abdel Rahman, Vice Chairman of The Egyptian Exchange (EGX), gave the first lectures on Financial Literacy as part of a comprehensive training program aiming to raise awareness on the basics of investment and saving in capital market.  The lecture was attended by more than 100 students.

 

EGX collaborates with Ain Shams University to strengthen the efforts of both sides in spreading the financial culture and introducing students in various disciplines to the basics of saving and investing in the capital market, as well as providing practical application for them to have experience on the trading process to acquire new skills and experiences that raise their knowledge, skills and experience.

During his lecture, Mr. Ahmed Abdul Rahman reviewed the basics of investing, the role of related parties of the industry, and the trading cycle.  He stressed that investment in the Egyptian capital market does not request wealth but knowledge. He added that the Egyptian capital market comprises diversity in its investment products, meeting the needs of the variety of investor.
