Dr. Mohammed Omran, EGX chairman, participated in the launch ceremony of simulation trade center of the Faculty of Commerce-Ein Shams University. This comes within the framework of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) keenness to participate in spreading the financial awareness among universities? students.
Among the participants in that event was Mr. Sherif Samy, Chairman The Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority (EFSA), Dr. Hussein Eissa, Head of Ein Shams University, as well as experts from (Money Experts Club) institution (Sponsors of the center).
Dr. Omran stressed on the importance of spreading investment awareness in the Egyptian universities. He pointed out that EGX organized several financial awareness campaigns, theoretical and practical through Borsa Step x Step conference and Stock Riders online trade simulation program since 2000. Our educational activities reached universities all over Egypt's governorates.
EGX chairman stated that we are seeking to develop competitive games among universities? students, to allow better investment education within fair competitions among them.
Omran pointed to EGX participation in the global financial week (March 2014) in collaboration with the Egyptian Banking Institute (EBI) to spread awareness among schools? students too.
