- Mr. Alaa Sabei resigned from EGX Board due to the proximity of his resignation from Beltone Financial Holding

The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) Board thanked Mr. Alaa Sabei, EGX board member who submitted his resignation to EGX Chairman, due to the proximity of his resignation from Beltone Financial Holding. EGX Board honored Sabei for his efforts during the past period and gave him a souvenir gift offered by EGX Chairman.
Dr. Mohammad Omran, EGX Chairman, said that Sabei is one of the important figures in the Egyptian capital market and was an added value to EGX Board, wishing him success in the next phase. While Sabei said that the period spent at EGX Board was full of work and efforts for the Egyptian capital market, expressing his pride for what has been accomplished in the last period. He also thanked EGX Chairman and board members, wishing them more success in EGX leadership in the coming period, specially with the successive challenges facing the financial markets worldwide.
It is worth mentioning that according to EGX rules and regulations, Mr. Shawkat El Maraghi will replace Mr. Alaa Sabei as member in EGX Board, as he is the winner for the highest number of votes after Mr. Alaa Sabei in the last EGX elections.
