EGX announces the decommissioning of the S&P/EGX ESG Index effective July 15, 2025.
 
EGX is currently studying the creation of a new ESG index with a revised & a more aligned methodology to international best practices.
 
Worth noting that EGX, in collaboration with S&P Dow Jones Indices launched the S&P/EGX ESG Index in March 2010, providing investors with exposure to the best performing stocks in the Egyptian market, as measured by Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices.
